Annie’s Chocolate Pound Cake


Ingredients: 
2 sticks of margarine 
½ C of Crisco 
3 C of sugar 
1 dash of salt 
5 large eggs 
1 t of vanilla 
3 C of flour 
4 T of cocoa 
½ t of baking powder 
1 C of milk 




Directions: 
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar until light 
and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. (Beat well after each addition) 
Sift flour, cocoa, and baking powder, and salt together Add dry ingredients alternating with milk. Starting and ending with dry. Bake for 75 minutes (1 hour and 15 minutes) 


** Prepare bottom of pan with wax paper or grease pan with Crisco


Annie's Chocolate Icing 


Ingredients: 
1 stick of margarine (melted) 
½ C of cocoa 
1 box of sifted powdered sugar 
½ C of evaporated milk (scant less) 
1 t of vanilla 


Directions: 
Mix together margarine, cocoa, milk and vanilla. Add to powdered sugar. Add milk if needed.
