Easy Beef Burgundy in Crockpot

This is a great recipe to make for company! It holds well in the crockpot so you can be focused on the side dishes and not worry about the entree. It's tasty too! I usually add more wine so you can taste it a little more, along with the other flavors.

Ingredients:
1 C onion thinly sliced, or a jar of pearl onions
2 lbs. stewing meat, cubed ( I like to use sirloin for this recipe)
1 ½ T flour
½ lb fresh mushrooms, washed and sliced
1 t salt
¼ t dried marjoram (optional)
¼ t dried thyme (optional)
1/8 t pepper
¾ C beef broth (soup)
1 ½ C burgundy wine

Directions:
Place onions in crockpot. Dredge meat in flour, and put it in crockpot. Add mushrooms and spices. Pour in broth and wine. Cover. Cook 8-10 hours on ow. Serve over cooked noodles or rice.
